Environment

Elprint is continuously working on reducing our environmental impact - within the company as well as towards the outside environment.

All our products shall meet or exceed legislated and market requirements in advance of implementation deadlines. By use of training, investments and organization Elprint aim to meet these requirements in a technical and economical responsible manner.

Elprint and RoHS
The RoHS directive (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) restricts the use of six hazardous substances in electrical and electronic products. These hazardous substances were removed from Elprint production in May 2003.

Elprint and WEEE
The WEEE directive (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) is a European legislation where WEEE will affect manufacturers, retailers, consumers and users of electrical and electronic goods. The WEEE directive prevents waste by encouraging reuse and recycling a process incorporated in Elprint's production process since May 2003.
